General Information:
Dialifos is an obsolete organophosphate insecticide. It has a low aqueous solubility and is highly volaile. It is highly toxic to honey bees and moderately toxic to birds and fish. Dialifos has a high mammalian oral toxicity, is an aceyl cholinesterase inhibitor, a neurotoxin and an irritant. An obsolete pesticide that was used on a variety of crops to control sucking and chewing insect pests. A chiral molecule. Substance is racemic.

The EPA Method 500 series includes methods and guidelines for drinking water standards designed to identify and quantify organic compounds in municipal drinking water.
The EPA Method 600 series guidelines are typically used in conjunction with the EPA 500 series to provide a comprehensive set of methods for monitoring organic pollutants in wastewater under the United States Clean Water Act.
The EPA Method 8000 series include methods for a wide range of organic compounds, including volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds, pesticides, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
