Au Stability in Aqua Regia

I have not done stability studies in AR but this solution changes with time. I suspect that the Au will not be stable although I do not have the data to support this. After dissolving Au we get rid of all NOx by adding HCl and heating and have had excellent stability with Au at ppb levels in an HCl matrix.
