Waters VICAM™ products provide reliable solutions for detecting mycotoxins and other contaminants in food, feed, agricultural commodities, and cannabis products. Using advanced immunoaffinity column (IAC) technology, they deliver highly selective sample cleanup, improved accuracy, and consistent analytical results. VICAM products help laboratories reduce sample preparation time, increase testing efficiency, and achieve high sensitivity for detecting contaminants at low levels. Compatible with fluorometry, HPLC, UPLC, and LC-MS/MS systems, they support a wide range of testing workflows and regulatory requirements.
High Selectivity and Accuracy
VICAM immunoaffinity columns use highly specific antibodies to isolate target mycotoxins from complex samples, reducing matrix interference and improving analytical accuracy. This helps laboratories achieve reliable quantitative results even at very low contamination levels.
Faster Sample Preparation
Many VICAM products, such as the wide-bore (WB) and WB SR series columns, are designed for higher flow rates and quicker cleanup procedures, reducing sample preparation time while maintaining performance. Some toxin isolation procedures can be completed in approximately 15 minutes (excluding extraction).
