OIML INDIVIDUAL CALIBRATION WEIGHTS

Individual Calibration Weights Adjusted to Meet or Exceed OIML Class E1, E2, F1, and F2 Tolerances

Troemner OIML Individual Calibration Weights offer the tightest tolerances, lowest uncertainties, and all surfaces are polished to a perfect finish to meet or exceed OIML R 111 tolerance and design restrictions. OIML Class E1, E2, F1, and F2 calibration weights are manufactured from high grade stainless steels including Troemner Alloy 8 which possesses closely controlled density, low magnetic susceptibility, and corrosion resistance.

Explorer precision 1
Explorer precision 2
Explorer precision 3
OIML E1-E2 and F1-F2 offer high accuracy with tight tolerances and uncertainties of less than 1/4 of the tolerance. Weight surfaces meet or exceed OIML R111 and have a highly polished finish.
Available in high grade stainless steels including Troemner Alloy 8 which possesses closely controlled density, extremely low magnetic properties, good stability, and resistance to corrosion.
Available with certificate options traceable to NIST including ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Certificate or Traceable Certificate to aid in meeting SOP and regulatory requirements.

Applications

Use OIML E1 as a primary reference to calibrate other mass standards and use for traceability between national mass standards and OIML E2 weights and lower. OIML E1 is appropriate for calibrating high-precision balances with a readability as low as 0.1 mg./p>

Construction

Weights 1 g and above are two-piece. Weights 500 mg and below are one-piece. Weights 50 kg to 1 kg are Troemner Alloy 8 or 316 Stainless Steel. Weights 500 g to 1 g are Troemner Alloy 8. Weights ≤500 mg are 303 Stainless Steel, 304 Stainless Steel or Aluminum.

Design Features

Weights 1g - 50kg have a tapered neck allowing easy handling, polished mirror-like finish allowing scratches or foreign matter to be seen, and bottom of weights are recessed to reduce wear. mg weights are flat with one end turned up for easy handling.
