Inside the syringe filter cellulose acetate is used as membrane material. The hydrophilic CA membrane is suitable for filtration of water-soluble oligomers and polymers, especially suited for biological macromolecules with very high shape stability in aqueous solutions. Extremely low binding capacity for proteins. In a sterile package (S) for filtration under sterile conditions (each filter is color coded and individually sealed). All CHROMAFIL filters are autoclavable (121 °C and 1.1 bar for 30 min)!
