General Information:

Aramite is an obsolete miticide and antimicrobial agent. It has a low aqueous solubility and a low volatility. It may be persistent in soil systems depending upon local conditions. Aramite is not expected to leach to groundwater based on its physico-chemical properties. It is moderately toxic to fish. highly toxic to aquatic invertebrates. It has a low oral mammalian toxicity but may be carcinogenic. It is a recognised irritant.

EPA Method Series Information

The EPA Method 500 series includes methods and guidelines for drinking water standards designed to identify and quantify organic compounds in municipal drinking water.

The EPA Method 600 series guidelines are typically used in conjunction with the EPA 500 series to provide a comprehensive set of methods for monitoring organic pollutants in wastewater under the United States Clean Water Act.
