General Information:

Atraton is an obsolete herbicide that was used for clearing vegetation in non-agricultural areas. It is moderrately solubl in water and is non-volatile. It may be moderrately persistent in soil systems depending on conditions. Little information is known regarding its ecotoxicity. It is moderrately toxic to mammals if ingested and is a recognised irritant.

EPA/USP Method

Method 619 is applicable to triazine pesticides’ extraction, separation and measurement in industrial and municipal wastewaters by gas chromatography with a thermionic bead detector in the nitrogen mode.
