- Syringe filters, labeled, CHROMAFIL Xtra GF, 13 mm, 1 µm
Inside the syringe filter a glass fiber is used as membrane material. The hydrophilic GF membrane is a inert filter for solutions with high loads of particulate matter or for highly viscous solutions (e.g., soil samples, fermentation broths). The nominal pore size of 1 µm allows higher flow rates than small pore filters. Membrane material is also used as prefilter for CHROMAFIL combi filters, they prevent plugging of the main membrane. Labeled for method validation and certification. All CHROMAFIL filters are autoclavable (121 °C and 1.1 bar for 30 min)!
