Product Description:
Method 502.1 identifies volatile halogenated organic compounds, in water, by purge and trap gas chromatography.
Method 502.2 is a general purpose method for the identification and measurement of purgeable volatile organic compounds in finished drinking water, raw source water, or drinking water in any treatment stage. 502.2 is applicable to a wide range of organic compounds that have sufficient volatility and low water solubility to be efficiently removed from water samples by purge and trap procedures.
After purging is complete, a capillary gas chromatography (GC) column is used to separate the method analytes followed by photoionization detection (PID).
Methods 524.1 and 524.2 are general purpose methods for the identification of a wide range of organic compounds and simultaneous measurement of purgeable volatile organic compounds in finished drinking water, raw source water, or drinking water in any treatment stage
