General Information:
Myclobutanil is a widely used fungicide. It is moderately toxic if ingested. It is moderately soluble in water and organic solvents and is volatile. Studies seem to show that Myclobutanil has a high potential for leaching and is moderately persistent in soil systems. Under certain conditions it may also be persistent in aquatic systems. It is moderately toxic to birds, fish, aquatic invertebrates, algae, honeybees and earthworms. A chiral molecule. The technical material is an isomeric equimolar mixture of the R- and S-forms.
